As we put together more details for our wedding, I came across these hot pink, orange and yellow pieces and they’ve inspired the flowers and many other elements for the big day. If you can’t already tell, I’m not afraid of color and I stand by my theory that you can never have too much or be too bright. Be bright!
Well, it’s officially wedding planning time! I’ve been scheming and searching and have booked a venue, caterer and best of all, my photographers, Red Gallery Photography. I wanted to share their amazing work because I think they’re fantastically talented and brides in Ohio (and beyond) should take a look!
Lisa and Clay are a husband and wife team and as soon as my browser loaded their site, I knew I had found a perfect match. I love their style, finesse and their creative spirits and I can’t wait to see the creative spin they’ll take on our wedding. Hooray for weddings!

Well, if you haven’t noticed, I’ve been MIA when it comes to blogging. I’ve had a whirlwind of a month so far and can’t believe June is around the corner!
I recently came back from my trip to the Dominican Republic and it was one of the best weeks of my life. Not only did I soak up the sun and blue skies and ignore all emails, texts and calls, but my boyfriend of 3 and half years, Scott, asked me to marry him. By far one of the best moments to date.

While I’ve taken the last few weeks off of blogging, I’m now back in the game and excited to share the many updates. new finds and good books I read while taking my little vacation from day-to-day life. It’s good to be back!
